HRT Training - August 19th, 2014

This was an exceptionally exciting training mission to come out on as it was my first time actually using the screamer suit! After the three rescue technicians went through a couple evolutions they had me wear the rescue suit and be hoisted up to the helicopter a couple of times. It's one thing to be on the ground or in the aircraft watching the crew go through the motions, but quite another to actually experience it. Thanks again to the crew, Bill, Jennifer, Beau, Miles, Yana, and Dave for allowing me to tag along!
